Our Story

A family farm in the Kent hills

Woodhill has deep roots as a traditional working farm in the rolling countryside near Faversham, Kent. What began as a peaceful family farm has gently evolved over the years into a much-loved destination for nature lovers and celebration.

First came Woodhill Campsite, a quiet, welcoming retreat where guests could pitch under the stars. Building on this love for outdoor living, we introduced the Enchanted Lodges, beautiful luxury eco-lodges with living roofs that brought a touch of magical glamping to the grounds.

Today, this same cherished land is home to Woodhill Weddings. With its Bedouin stretch tent, secret ceremony spaces and thoughtful facilities, Woodhill has come full circle, remaining true to its agricultural heritage while offering couples a private, romantic and unforgettable place to begin their forever.

Meet the Team

A group of lifetime friends and partners

Woodhill was created by a group of four lifetime friends and partners, who together turned this family farm into a place to celebrate.

Lloyd Harrison Nuttall

I have been a part owner of the land with a few members of our family for over 10 years, and have always wanted to run my own business on the land. When my good friends Oliver and Karlie approached us about a partnership, I instantly knew this was the avenue to go down to maximise the usage of the land. The land has something special about it, and alongside the campsite and Enchanted Lodges, Woodhill Weddings is the perfect addition to the portfolio of businesses.

Over the past two years of running Woodhill Campsite, I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand the incredible potential of the land and its beautiful surroundings. Having personally hosted family celebrations here, I know just how special the setting can be for bringing people together. It was therefore a natural and exciting opportunity to welcome Woodhill Weddings to the campsite. I am delighted to be part of creating a beautiful, relaxed and memorable setting where couples can celebrate their special day with family and friends.

With over 20 years as a successful bridal hairstylist, I have built a strong reputation and an extensive network of trusted wedding suppliers. Being part of this meaningful industry has always inspired me, and I have long dreamed of expanding into venue ownership, so I can share my connections, experience and passion with future couples and help bring their dream weddings to life.

Creating memorable events with a creative eye and a warm, personable approach has always been my passion. With over 10 years of experience owning and managing hospitality venues, my wife and I had long dreamed of one day running our own wedding venue. In the summer of 2025 that dream became reality when we teamed up with our good friends at Woodhill. Together we worked tirelessly to create Woodhill Weddings, a beautiful space where couples can celebrate their most special day.
